LESSONS AND TRAINING

We cater for all ages and abilities from tiny tots (age 4 onwards) to adults who are as old as they feel and from lead rein to the more experienced rider.  The riding school offers horses and ponies to ride.  The coaching system is geared towards those with their own ponies who want to be coached at Bulby by home and visiting coaches and instructors.  Pony Club and BHS gold members are welcome.

Cancellation fees - unless 48 hours notice of cancellation is given the full lesson fee is payable.  This mirrors general busines practice and allow us to manage and plan staff time.

We offer daily, weekly and weekend lessons on either a private or a group basis.  Group lessons will be riders of the same standard.

We run a Pony Leasing Scheme to existing clients who lease a pony to treat as their own on working livery at the yard.  When they are confidant they can hire the trailer to take thier pony out to shows and competitions.

Hacking is available to riders who are competent.

Members of the Pony Club Centre are able to compete in a Pony Club League series which are held on a regular basis. A prize giving for this series will be held at the Christmas show with rosettes and trophies.

The Saddle Club runs for regular riding clients. The Saddle Club is for 10+ year olds and is led by Meghan and Ameiia on Saturdays and Laura C on Sundays and usually runs from 08.30am until until evening stables and turnout is completed. Saddle Club members are a dedicated fun loving team who train in stable management skills, work towards their Pony Club Centre achievement badges and contribute to the smooth running of the yard.  They have usually attended Pony Club Badge nights and earned some of their stable management badges so that they are familiar with yard routines and have some knowledge and skill already.
